Our spacious catamarans – the only ones in Milford Sound - will take you on a journey down the south side of the Fiord, heading out to the Tasman Sea and then will make the return journey up the north side. The large viewing decks allow you to move around more freely and our catamarans give you a stability on the water that only a twin hull vessel can offer.

Get up close to nature in our luxury small boat. The small and nimble boat can get so closer to the wildlife and even into the powerful waterfalls. The boat cruises with roving nature guides aboard to provide detailed information about the geology, fauna and flora of the area.

For the all inclusive Milford Sound experience we offer the longest cruise (3hrs) to really give you a chance to Discover More and take in all the wonders of the fiord. A visit to Milford Deep Underwater Observatory is included as well as a delicious Kiwi BBQ on board our newly refurbished boat.

Go below with New Zealand’s only floating underwater observatory and the only structure in this World Heritage Area. You can upgrade your Red Boats cruise to include a visit to Milford Deep on all cruises apart from the 12noon, 3pm and 3.45pm.

Milford Sound Scenic Day Tours connect with our 1.30pm Scenic Cruise. On the drive to Milford comprehensive English commentary is given by the driver and headsets are available for commentary in Japanese, Spanish and Mandarin. These tours are available all year round.

AwesomeNZ Milford Encounter Tours connect with our 1.15pm Encounter Nature Cruise. On the drive to Milford comprehensive English commentary is provided by the driver. These tours are available daily during the summer season from 1st October to 30th April.

For the ultimate Milford Sound experience Glenorchy Air offer 40minute flights giving you an unforgettable insight into the natural world at its unspoilt best. The flights take in magnificent views of the mountains, glaciers, lakes and forests of Fiordland National Park.

Glenorchy Air have scheduled fly/cruise/fly options at 8am, 10am and 2pm (connecting with Scenic Cruises) but if there are at least two passengers they can taylor a trip to suit your needs, allowing you to connect with the cruise of your choice!
