Note: The following information contains many inaccuracies and is presented for the purpose of highlighting and correcting those only.

What's Wrong?

  • There was regards to the topography of the land and Baldwin Street was created by a local resident's private subdivision.
  • The early Maori history was probably not any more bloody than anywhere else in New Zealand. In particular there was no fighting at "the end of the 1800s" as that was the main time that Dunedin was being built.

What's Wrong?

  • Olvesten is not located at the right place on the map, the information about it has spelling errors and includes the words "and Larnarch" at the end when this is nothing to do with Larnarch.
  • The actual gradient of Baldwin street is 1:2.86
  • Speights Brewery is not one of the smallest in the country. It might be one of the smaller major breweries.
  • The location of Emerson's on the map is wrong.
  • Royal Albatross colony is the only mainland colony.

  • The location of the main post office is nonsensical.
  • The location of the visitor's centre is wrong (It's in Princess street)
  • There is no difference between Citibus buses and "suburban buses" (Citibus is the company that runs most of the buses)

  • You cannot visit the "Kiwi house" or go on the "Trans Alpine" as they are not in Dunedin.
  • Local operators are not allowed on to the wharf to collect shuttle passengers at prices lower than the cruise ship's "nominal fee".
  • The shuttles go to the Octagon not Cumberland Street.
